Internships
Many thanks go to Chevron Texaco in Pascagoula, MS who have sponsored our internship
program since 1998. Interns have become a valuable addition to WRANPS ever
since. Each intern adds his/her unique contributions to our growing
organization. We are grateful to Chevron for providing this unique
training opportunity. With the help of Chevron, 21 interns have spent their time
learning about our Mississippi wildlife. Our program is very unique and it is
the only training opportunity in wildlife rehabilitation in Mississippi and the
adjacent Gulf Coast area. Interns stay a minimum of 3 months and some have
chosen to stay longer. Thanks to Chevron, housing is provided for an intern and
there is $100 per week (minus taxes) stipend.
